MISSION: To provide resources to encourage and strengthen the Church in living Jesus command to love one another as He loves us.
Vision: An instructional and inspirational resource data base and ministry program that provides guidance to pastors and lay leaders in enlivening the life of their church and their church family in such a way that the world will come to us asking to be a part of the wonderful Body of Christ.
Welcome to the Church-Community Ministries website. It is my prayer that you will find helpful tidbits of information, a glimmer of an idea, or, if I might be so bold, an "aha" that you sense will help you grow a ministry to which you sense God is calling you. The book reviews are included to help you decide on whether a particular book you've heard of is worth the investment of time and money.
Here are some things you will find in this website:
Looking for information that has been reviewed and recommended? If so, take a look at the books, CD’s, and DVD’s that have been chosen.
Serving the Body
This site comprises articles on various ministries. There are articles on ministry to the homeless and a new program I am developing called "Discovering God's Plan for Your Life."
This site puts hands and feet to Jesus' instructions to do unto others as we would have them do unto us and to love our neighbor as ourselves. I will apply leadership principles, human relations experiences and even some human factors engineering.
Apologetics
This site addresses the evangelist's discipline of apologetics, being ready to give an answer to anyone who asks.
"Be Open To Me”, Said The LORD"
I
will give you unexpected pathways to walk.
Let
me surprise you!
Don't
limit Me by your own plans, so definitely made.
Allow
me to interrupt you and show you things anew.
Some
things may seem puzzling or even mysterious.
But
don't be hindered by this.
I
know what's best.
Remember
I made you.
I
know you intimately.
When
you look back you will be delighted at what you see.
You
will have no regrets.
Be
open to Me.
Let Me
bless you.
